Our FAMILY of instructors
Owner/Instructor - Steven Nundahl
Hi, my name is Steven Nundahl. I am the Owner here at Top-Notch Driving School. I am a state certified training instructor as well as testing examiner. I have nearly 5 years' experience from another local driving school and strive to provide the best learning experiences I can. I enjoy teaching our students to drive safely and efficiently on the roadways. Teaching students about the responsibility/maturity it takes to operate a vehicle on the road is a passion of mine. I recently took a continuing education course and one thing that stood out to me was "Safety is not a job; Safety is a passion!" In the age of distraction, we live in, teaching and preaching safety is very important. I thoroughly enjoy working with our students during this very important milestone in life.
A little about me: I was born and raised in Kennewick, WA and graduated from Southridge High School. GO SUNS! I graduated in 2012 and married my high school sweetheart in 2016. We live in Kennewick, with our two dogs, River and Oakley. I enjoy all things sports, especially football. I have played football throughout middle school and high school and have even played Semi-pro for the local Tri-City Rage and coached for the Indoor Football Tri-City Rush. You will notice lots of Minnesota Vikings merch on my desk/person, do not hold that against me!

Until recently I enjoyed instructing as a part-time position now it is my only position. Instructor- Pam Homer
Reaching, teaching, and training young people to be successful driving community members is my passion and my purpose. Working with students that are highly motivated to perform well is very exciting and rewarding. Recognizing each person as an individual and identifying their personal strengths and learning styles allows me to personalize a plan for them to achieve their full potential. As a leader/instructor that has been highly involved in the transportation industry for over thirty years, I understand the importance of good, competent drivers. Currently within the driver education system, I have served as a classroom and in car instructor since 2017. I am also a DOL certified examiner and trainer. I am looking forward to meeting YOU! My catch phrase in class and when coming to a stop in the car, "Make my earrings swing".
